British Bangladeshi Psychologist Nazmul Hossain, who secured 3rd place (stand) in combined and 1st among boys Merit List of the Dhaka Board, was admitted to the Psychology Department of Dhaka University as his favourite subject although was one of the top scorers in the admission test. He passed BSc (Hon’s) in 1997 and passed MSc in 1998 and MPhil Preliminary in 2000 from the Department of Clinical Psychology. After higher training in Community Mental Health and Health and Social Care in London, he awarded a Certificate for 1 year full time course from the world famous Cambridge University, UK. He is a Psychologist in Clinical Psychology field with over 22 years of experience in UK, India and Bangladesh. He achieved deferent type of training in mental, addiction, and sexual health in various countries. He gained reputation in government and private institutions in different countries by accurately identifying problems and causes and manage them with counseling and therapy with maximum attention, gentle behaviour, and a smiling face. He has been working as a specialist/consultant at London for 12 years, dealing with mental, sexual, and addiction problems. Apart from providing training on mental health and seeing clients at chambers in Dhaka and London, he regularly advises on the media about psychological issues.
